Department of Mines

Objective

            Planning and Work Inspection department was previously organized to supervise and inspect the production,  implementation of short and long term plans of mines as Government is taking responsibilities of economic enterprise of mineral sector in carrying out the planned economic system. In accordance with the adoption of market economic system, to implement the economic objective the Department of Mines has been renamed to extend the organization with duties and functions.
