Brief History

Feasibility study and Exploration of the deposit have been made since 1959.

In 1967, due to geological survey and exploration, substanticl ore bodies are prospected,

From 1968 to 1971,ore prospecting, mine preparation & developning were made simultaneously.

Ore Reserve of Yadana Theingi Mine as at 1.4.2010 is (1.2)Million Tonnes of Lead Ore, the Categories are P₁, P₂, P₃ and P₄ .

Yadana Theingi Mine project was transferred to a private company with effect from 1.5.2011.
