No.(1) Mining Enterprise

(1)    Brief History

(a)      The Burma Corporation Limited (1951) was nationalized on (18.1.1965) and changed to People’s Bawdwin Industry. Subsequently, People’s Bawdwin Industry changed to Myanmar Bawdwin Corporation on (2.3.1970) and then changed to No. (1) Mining Corporation on (1.4.1976), and then changed to No. (1) Mining Enterprise since 1988 State Law  and Order Restoration Council’s regime up to nowadays.

(b)    In 1972, the Industrial Mineral Corporation was subsequently changed its name to No.(4) Mining Corporation on (1.4.1976). It was changed to No.(3) Mining Corporation from 28th,April,1979 and then took its name No.(3) Mining Enterprise since 1^st, April, 1989. The Organization formerly known as No.(3) Mining Enterprise was terminated as of 31^st, March,2015 and the establishment, including the services, duties and functions, responsibilities, financial authorities and employees were placed under the administration of No.(1) Mining Enterprise as of 1^st, April, 2015.
