Golden Jubilee Myanmar Pearl Auction  Held Success

         The 50th Myanma, Jade, Gems and Pearl Emporium was held in June in Naypyitaw. At which 24.6 kan, or 99 percent, of the South Sea Pearl on offer were sold out.

         At the auction, the overall quality of the pearls on offer is a bit lower than previous 49^th Pearl Auction in March 2012.

         Only some pearl lots which have higher prices than their qualities were dropped.

         The winning prices of competitive bidding reached more than double price of the reserve price.

         More than 70 companies attended the auction, 6 new foreign companies participated, 58 of them were successful bidders.
