The Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Ohn Win had visited Myanmar Pearl Auction (August 2017)by open tender system held at Myanma Gems Museum starting August 18, 2017 and ending on 20^th,  from 9 am to 4:30 pm. He visited display of pearl lots, pearl customers’ inspecting pearl lots to bid for open tender system, and greeted cordially to local and foreign pearl customers. The Union Minister awarded Biggest Buyer Award to the local pearl buyer Ms Khin Myint Aye of Aung Zabu Aye  Jewellery  Shop for purchase of 61 pearl lots with the total amount of 678 million Kyats at 35^th Local Pearl Auction held last year.

Myanmar Pearl Auction (August 2017) had been held for three days starting 18^th and ends on 20^th August 2017 putting up 270 lots comprising 86914 pieces of pearl, having 65002.45 momme in weight, reserve price 1230800  Euro.
